Session Title: "Why You Don't Want to Hire for "Culture Fits"-Lessons in Diversity"

Session Description: At Quick Left,  women compose 50% of our company, 50% of our leadership team, and 33% of our engineering team. This is almost unheard of in the tech industry. It wasn't an easy road, and we had to evaluate our own internal processes to make sure we were getting the best person for the job through our rigorous hiring process. Join us at Quick Left for a discussion about how we created an all-inclusive environment and evaluated our internal processes to allow for better diversity across all spectrums. We'll also be joined by leading diversity experts Gerry Valentine and LGBTQ Meetup Co-organizer and NCWIT Affinity Group Alliance Member Sarah Brown on steps you can take to identify bias, share data supporting the diversity argument, and tips for you to take to create a better company in the process.
